Florida-based Media Decor, LLC was founded in 2003 to fulfill elegant
designer-level solutions for today’s home entertainment installations.
Its team of expert and inspired technicians, interior designers and structural
craftsmen collaborate to create and deliver the world’s most compelling,
beautiful and customized entertainment environments.
Media Décor’s products were designed from the ground up to fill a rising demand
to discretely hide large flat screen displays when they are turned off or not
being viewed.
Our Mission
Designers, architects, and A/V Custom Installers have been looking for solutions
to conceal large TV screens that dominate the wall space in most homes and
conference rooms. Media Décor provides custom solutions that not only solves the
problem, but contribute to the room decor, and ultimately please the client.
Our Solutions
The Media Décor Moving Art provides a silent motorized solution to concealing
displays. These innovative units are all powered by Lutron drive units. The
Elite series employs a magnetic roller system to ensure silent and smooth
operation. The Illusion uses a traditional motorized solution. The economical
ECCO system uses a Somfy motor.
The Media-Mirror™ and Mirage-Mirror™ offer a selection of elegantly crafted and
framed mirror overlays that perfectly conceal the TV but then magically allow
clear video viewing when the set is activated.
The Eclipse Series offers a silent mechanical solution for using original art.
The Original-Art Lift series provides an economical solution if original artwork
must be used.
Media Décor offers a range of options. Each unit is custom built to the clients
requirements.

Jonathan Graham - President
He has served as Chief Operating Officer, of Media Decor, a
manufacturing company providing Designers & Audio Video companies with
solutions for concealing Flat Screen displays. In executive capacities
with the company, Jonathan oversees operations, product development, and
marketing. He developed and implemented strategic business plans leading
to substantial revenue and profit growth. Furthermore, Jonathan excelled
in creating the highest quality and most innovative products in this
industry. He holds multiple patents in concealment technology
Jonathan founded Media Décor after selling Nortek Group and DMP America;
both companies specialized in high end custom electronic solutions.
Throughout Media Décor’s spectacular growth, Jonathan developed and
patented several firsts in the Audio Video Industry. These include:
• ‘Floating Hembar’ to silently conceal TVs with art.
• The first Beam-Splitter using dielectric coating and built in
ventilation to conceal TVs with mirrors.
• The first TV mount that can be adjusted for horizontal misalignment.
• The first fire-rated enclosure for mounting TVs into wall recesses
above fireplaces.

Judith Sexton – Vice President
Born in England and a graduate of Goldsmiths’ College, University of
London and post graduate studies at L’Ecole de Beaux Arts, Belgium,
Judith has lived and worked in the UK, Europe and the US.
After a career in education in the UK and Europe Judith moved to the US.
Now a US citizen she owned and operated Fine Art Galleries and an art
consulting company after relocating to Florida in the early 90’s.
Previous sales and management experience internationally in a wide
variety of industries, including real estate, fine art and design,
forensic accounting and international freight forwarding.
Currently she handles inside sales and support, finance and is the
resident art expert.

Vanessa Perez –Sayen - Sales & Marketing Manager
With a degree from ITT Tech in Electronic Engineering Technology,
Vanessa Sayen (formally Vanessa Perez) has 8 years of professional
experience and working knowledge in the custom installation market.
Vanessa previously worked for Stewart Filmscreen Corp. hand in hand with
the sales department as Consumer Product Specialist, responsible for
training dealers to facilitate superior customized service to the
residential customers.
Previously, Vanessa was the Marketing Coordinator of SIM2 Multimedia
USA, where she was responsible for supporting all marketing activities
in North America. Prior to that, she provided sales and technical
support for SIM2 USA, which gave her the opportunity to interact
directly with dealers and end-user.

Arlene Haidar – Operations Manager
Arlene Tatarka Haidar graduated with a degree in education from the
University of Pittsburgh. As the “hands on” Manager of Operations &
Scheduling at Media Décor, she has earned her 25 years plus experience
through owning and managing two companies. The first organization,
Taman-Haidar Inc. was an Executive Search & Recruiting firm dealing with
professional and senior level assignments and both domestic and
international clients. This involved both the marketing of this service
organization and the management of the recruiting process.
The second company was a greeting card business with a unique line of
inspirational cards primarily for independently owned stores. As a
totally different type of business, this enabled Arlene to understand
the challenges of the manufacturing process and the differences between
marketing a service vs. a product. Ultimately both experiences served to
sharpen her pro-active abilities to solve problems and deal with issues
that inhibit servicing the buyer and developing a happy customer.

Keith Sexton – Production Manager
Keith has been with Media Décor since 2004 and has worked in the
Production Department where he is currently Production Manager. Keith
has overseen the production of all products that Media Décor offers and
has actively been involved with the research & design of all new
products and modifications of existing products.
Keith relocated to Florida from his original hometown in the Washington,
DC metro area. Keith graduated from the University of Maryland, College
Park with a BA in Government & Politics, with a minor in Business
Management. Past professional experience includes work in commercial
real estate and information technology. Prior to joining Media Décor,
Keith worked as a wide area network (WAN) engineer for the American Red
Cross National Headquarters in Falls Church, VA.

Edd Langdon –Cabinet Maker
Edd , born in Miami is a native Floridian with over 36 years of
construction and woodworking experience. He spent four years in
carpenters apprentice school and began fine woodworking in the early
eighties, at which time he started his own millwork company. In 1991 He
purchased a Picture Frame Gallery specializing in museum quality
framing. In 2003 he met Jonathan Graham and worked with him on building
picture frames for the moving art units. In 2007 he sold his stores and
went to work full time for Media Décor. |
